Software • Product • Strategy

Hi, I'm Muhammad Rafiq.

I build product-focused software and clear project work across web apps, smart-home ideas, and technical problem solving.

This site is a focused overview of my projects, experience, and the way I think through product and software problems.

Think

Break down the messy part first so the work has a real direction.

Build

Move from idea to working version instead of staying stuck in planning.

Explain

Show the work in a way that makes the point quickly.

Featured Work

Selected projects with a clear professional focus.

A focused set of work that shows product thinking, frontend execution, and clear presentation without filler projects or unrelated media.

Personal Project

Designing a smart-home interface around clearer device status, routines, and manual controls.

  • Map the moments where smart-home apps feel confusing, like offline devices or unclear automations.
  • Prototype flows that make status easy to scan and controls easy to reach.
  • Keep the idea grounded in what a real user would need before adding extra features.

About

I like building things that are useful, clear, and polished enough to stand on their own.

I am interested in the space between software, product thinking, and presentation. I care about how something works, and I care about whether someone can understand it quickly.

MuHome is the main project here. It is a smart-home concept built around a simple problem: people should know what their devices are doing without digging through confusing controls.

Keep it clear

If someone has to work too hard to understand the page, flow, or argument, it needs another pass.

Prototype early

A rough working version usually tells me more than a long plan.

Make it look finished

The details matter because people judge the idea through the way it is presented.
